Electrical Safety in the Workplace: NFPA 70E

This course will cover NFPA 70E ("qualified person") electrical safety training requirements including the NFPA 70E 2018 edition regulatory changes. Learn what a "qualified person" is as defined by OSHA; what an arc flash/arc blast is; who must be trained; proper selection and use of PPE; clearance distances; proper lockout/tagout procedures; and how to recognize electrical hazards. Designed for qualified and non-qualified workers. Qualified workers are required to attend a mandatory refresher course every three years.
Length: Two, 2-hour sessions
