The goal of the National Safety Council's online defensive driving course is to provide drivers with the knowledge and safe driving techniques to prevent collisions and violations. The course focuses on collision prevention through hazard recognition and application of collision avoidance techniques. In addition, the course also addresses common driving violations that result in collisions and how to change driving habits to eliminate moving violations.
The online defensive driving course is easy to use and complete, even for those with minimal computer skills; you just need Internet access and a printer (upon successful completion, you can print a certificate of completion.) You can take the class all at one time or you can take it in increments ($49.94 member/nonmember price).
